Turn over-the-board chess games into PGN

Game2PGN will bring together two focused tools for chess players, clubs, coaches, and organizers who want to preserve games played on a physical board in the standard Portable Game Notation format. Both services are currently in development and are presented here as a preview of what is coming.

Video2PGN is being developed for recordings of real chessboards. It is designed to help follow the played moves and turn them into a PGN game that can be reviewed and corrected when the video is ambiguous. Ink2PGN is being developed for photographs of handwritten chess scoresheets. It will help interpret written move notation while using chess rules and the context of the game to evaluate possible readings.

The goal is a clear path from an over-the-board game to a useful, portable PGN file. Neither conversion service is available yet; Video2PGN and Ink2PGN are coming soon.
